One Million Women
One Million Women is a movement committed to bringing real and lasting change to our climate and our community.
Every woman that joins the One Million Women campaign sets a personal goal of reducing their annual carbon emmissions by 1 tonne. The goal of the movement is to see practical action, at the grassroots level, to bring about change.
One Million Women assists those that join by offering ideas on how to reduce emmissions, information on climate change, and encouragement in driving change at the individual level.
Cassandra Kelly, Joint CEO of Pottinger, is an ambassador of One Million Women.
She says, "Climate change is an issue that we cannot deny or ignore. Women are known for our ability to adapt and change and right now there is an urgent need for us to encourage others to do the same.
